Setting up the extenders is not a difficult thing if all the steps are followed properly. But before starting up the setup, you need to make sure that you have the below-mentioned things available with you.

  2. Existing WiFi network
  3. Network SSID for existing network
  4. Password for the existing network
  5. A device that can work on the WiFi

Once you have arranged and noted down all the required information, then you can proceed with the steps of the Belkin WiFi Range extender.

Step 1: Place the Belkin WiFi Range extender in the proximity area of the existing WiFi router.

Step 2: Connect the Belkin Range Extender to the power source and turn it on.

Step 3: Start your system, and connect with the Belkin.setup network.

Step 4: In case, you are not finding the Belkin.setup network, then reset the Belkin Range extender, and try again.

Step 5: Now, go to the web browser of your system.

Step 6: Type the URL as http://belkin.range in the URL field and ta[p Enter on keyboard.

Step 7: The window will open for assisting setup. Click on the Get Started button.

Step 8: Now, it will start to look for the network’s SSID.

Step 9: the list will open for the available wireless networks in your range.

Step 10: Select the network which you want to extend.

Step 11: In case, you don’t find the name of your network, click on the refresh icon to update the list.

Step 12: Wait for some time to connect with the wireless network.

Step 13: If prompted, enter the password for your existing WiFi network.

Step 14: Wait for the authentication of the password.

Step 15: If you are using the dual-band range extender, then follow from step 8 to step 14 again.

Step 16: Once completed with the network connection, click on the Next button.

Step 17: The dialog will open with the extended network information.

Step 18: Click on the Edit button if you want to change something for the network settings.

Step 19: Otherwise skip the previous step, and click on the Create Extended Network button.

Step 20: On the creation of the network, the configuration is complete for belkin.range setup.

With this, now you are all set to use your extended network for the other wireless devices. Disconnect the Belkin range extender, and connect it somewhere at the location considered as the hard-to-reach area for the wireless network.
